The Andover Recreation Department strives to provide recreation opportunities for the youth of Andover. All patrons of Andover USD 385 who register by the appropriate deadlines will be allowed to participate. The Recreation Department also provides periodic cultural events during the year. The Recreation Department appreciates all the wonderful volunteers who help make the programs successful. If
you are interested in volunteering contact the Recreation Department at 733-1590. The Andover Parks and Recreation Department offers Youth Sports year-round. In the summer, boys and girls can participate in baseball or softball. Come fall, it’s time for football and in the winter, boy’s and girl’s basketball kicks off. We're in the process of looking at new programs to offer for youth and adults, stay tuned for more information. The Andover YMCA offers youth sports including basketball, baseball, softball, flag football, soccer, and volleyball for kids in age ranges that the Andover Recreation Department does not offer.
