"You don't have to get ready if you stay ready." ✈️🇺🇸

This week, the 89th Airlift Wing hosted our new Air Mobility Command leadership, U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Daniel Tulley, AMC commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Raun Howell, AMC command chief, as the very first stop on their command tour.

During an all-call and small-group roundtables, AMC’s command team spoke directly with our SAM Fox Airmen. Whether on the flightline fixing aircraft, in the cockpit flying the mission, or providing mission support behind the scenes, every Airman in this wing plays a vital role in generating airpower and delivering diplomacy for our nation.

This week, the SAM Fox team and the CanDo wing of the 305th Air Mobility Wing joined forces to inspire the next generation during a Civil Air Patrol event at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

More than 200 cadets explored Air Mobility Command aircraft, met the people behind the mission and experienced firsthand how mobility Airmen deliver global reach, strengthen partnerships and answer the nation's call.

Passing the Guidon at the 89th CS! 💻✈️

Congratulations to Lt. Col. Torin Herring on assuming command of the 89th Communications Squadron during a ceremony today, presided over by Col. Brandon Westling, 89th Operations Group commander!

Lt. Col. Herring takes the reins from Lt. Col. Temesha Christensen, who led the 190-member squadron over the last two years. Under her leadership, the 89th CS directed a $621 million global communications network, securing over 4,000 special air missions for our nation's senior leaders.

Thank you, Lt. Col. Christensen, for your outstanding leadership, and welcome to the team, Lt. Col. Herring! 🇺🇸
