Joint Base Andrews Legal Office Provides legal assistance to Active Duty, Retirees, ARC members, and their dependents Purpose of the Legal Office

Our primary goal and first priority is to ensure members and their families are prepared for deployment. That means we work with you to make sure you have everything in order. This includes a will, an advance medical directive (living will or medical power of attorney), powers of attorneys and arrangements to support your family. We also offer other forms of legal assistance, including domestic re

lations assistance (divorce, child support, and custody), advice regarding the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, personal property claims, landlord/tenant issues, and tax questions.

The Legal Office will be closed on Friday, 9 May 2025, for an office event. We will reopen on Monday, 12 May 2025, at 0900.

The office will be closed from Friday, 23 December 2022 - Monday, 26 December 2022. We will reopen on Tuesday, 27 December 2022, until Thursday, 29 December 2022. We are closed from Friday, 30 December, 2022 - Monday, 2 January 2023. We will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, 3 January 2023!!

Legal Assistance is by appointment only. Wills are offered every Wednesday, between the hours of 0900-1100, by appointment only.
