SCAM ALERT

It is going around again.....a person calling and saying they are an investigator with the Sheriff's Office, and you didn't show up for District Court. The scamming person is saying a warrant will be issued if you don't immediately take care of the fine.
Again The Sheriff's Office nor The Police Department will ever try to solicit money over the phone or text for fines or warrants.

The phone system at the Andrews County Sheriff's Office has received some upgrades, and if you receive a call from these two numbers, it will be legitimate Sheriff's Office Business. 432-224-9711 and 432-224-9712. Feel free to save them so they will show up in your caller ID. Also remember, if someone calls you from the Sheriff's Office, they will not be asking your for money or gift cards. They should also leave you a message to call back if they have legitimate business. Our original numbers are still functional also, 432-523-5545, 432-523-5546, 432-523-5547.
