The Andrews Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1946 and has served the people of the city and county of Andrews diligently ever since. Made up of 45 dedicated volunteers, the members of Andrews Volunteer Fire Department stand ready to serve the fire and rescue needs of the community they protect.

With cold temperatures and hazardous road conditions upcoming, we ask everyone to use extra caution when traveling. Slow down, increase your following distance, and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Please also practice fire safety at home:
🔥 Keep space heaters at least 3 feet away from anything that can burn and never leave them unattended.
🔥 Turn heaters off when sleeping or leaving the room.
🔥 Have chimneys cleaned regularly to prevent chimney fires.

Make sure your vehicle is winter-ready, headlights are on, and seatbelts are worn at all times.

Your safety is our top priority. Please stay alert, stay prepared, and look out for one another.
