Trails & Ales: Celebrating Cover Falls Preserve and Other Local Trails

Cover Falls Preserve is quickly becoming one of the best places in Andrews to explore!

You're Invited! Join us for a Public Visioning Session to help shape the future of Andrews local economy.

Date & Time: August 11, 2026 | 6:00–8:00 PM
Location: Andrews Community Center (535 Main Street).

The Town of Andrews is developing a 5-Year Strategic Economic Development Plan focused on identifying growth strategies, a shared vision, and priority projects to support local economic growth. At this interactive workshop, participants will hear an overview of the planning process and take part in activities designed to capture community ideas and aspirations. This plan is being developed by the NC Commerce Rural Planning Program, which works to strengthen rural communities by supporting locally driven economic development strategies. Thank you to the Town of Andrews for making this effort possible.

There’s something special about business owners getting around the same table!

We had a wonderful turnout for our first Andrews Business Owners Meet-Up. ⭐️Business owners⭐️, Town of Andrews, North Carolina , Cherokee County NC Chamber of Commerce, Andrews NC Chamber of Commerce & Welcome Center, Visit Cherokee County Tourism Development Authority , and NCWorks came together to get to know one another, share what’s happening in our businesses, and talk about how we can work together to make Andrews an even better place to grow a business, live, work, and visit!

A big thank you to Janis Versteeg Olson and Ferncrest Winery for hosting us.

And bonus: this crowd can cook! The potluck lunch was delicious! 🤩

This feels like the start of something really good. ❤️
