Denise Robinson for Village of Angie Mayor: “Ready to Lead”
My name is Denise Robinson, and it is with great honor and pleasure that I am announcing my candidacy into this year’s 2024 Village of Angie Mayor electoral race. The Village of Angie has been home to me for the entirety of my life, and I have watched over the years how our hometown has grown and changed in many great directions. I have a

lso had the opportunity to recognize many areas where our community could work together for improvement. When I think of the Village of Angie, I am overwhelmed with the feelings of family. As a family, we are to support, motivate and uplift each other. Leadership is developed through family ties, and I believe that due to my deep roots here in the Village of Angie that I am more than capable of leading our community into a great future. If elected as your mayor, my focal points would be to bring new attractions to our community that would encourage more family orientated activities. I would also be focused on creating a more collaborative relationship between our schools and community. Being involved in our students lives and developing various avenues of opportunities for them will be one of my main goals for this upcoming year. As mayor, I would also focus on working with local schools and business to help with resume writing and career development. For many years, I have walked beside you as your neighbor, church member, family member, entrepreneur, and friend. I am now excited to walk beside you, hand in hand, as your community advocate, spokesperson, leader, and Mayor. I am prepared and ready to lead the great Village of Angie into a bright and prosperous future.

Elect Denise Robinson Village of Angie Mayor

📢 5 days away from Election Day! 🗳️

I’m not one to boast about what I’ve done for our community, but I want to share with you what I’ve been working on WITHOUT a TITLE. A title doesn’t define my work—it comes from the heart. To run a village, we need to keep the basics in place (water system, safety, keeping taxes down), but to BUILD our village, we must come together in unity. We won’t always agree, but together we can make Angie stronger!

Here are just a few of the events I’ve supported and funded since 2016 to grow our community:

✨ Mother & Son Dance
👩‍👧‍👧 Mother & Daughter Night Out
🎗️ Cancer Walk: Forever For A Cure
🎉 Grand Opening for The Gathering Village
🛍️ Pop-Up Shop (For Small Business)
🍋 Lemonade Contest (Little Girls)
🍔 Hamburger Cookoff (Little Boys)
🌟 Light Up The Village Showcase
🎬 Movie Night
🎮 Game Day
🏞️ Grand Opening of The Gathering Village Community Playground
👑 How to be a Queen
💧 Community Water Day
🏃‍♂️ St. Jude Walk/Run In The Village of Angie

These are just the beginning, and I won’t stop building for our village. When you vote, know that leadership is about standing together—win or lose. Leaders don’t walk away, they stand strong.

I would appreciate your vote to continue building the Village of Angie. 🙏🏾

My Platform "

Things need to be ADDED to have a better and safer community.

*Yellow line on main st, it's a very busy street and very dark at night.
*All Village of Angie property, need to be house at the city hall.
*All commercial property in the village should stay clean.
*All of resident should keep their outside clean.
*All streets should be clear of view for all drivers. Because it could cause an accident.
*For summer, the mosquito truck should spray twice a week.
*If we can start a community group, to help the family in need. Because we never know what that would mean to someone.
*Start a toy club for the babies, and also spend the day with them.
*Start a kids club, to go around happening the elder take out trash etc.
All the club is available for all of our families, and we never know what that could mean to them.
*Have a resident & business contest, pick a house/business every 3 months with the best upkeep. Will get a sign for their yard/property.

This does not take a lot of money. This can build and unite our community.
