Come out, support our young local entrepreneurs, grab a bite to eat and have fun! 🌞

The Mini Makers Market - NEW is TOMORROW from 10am - 2pm!

Come out and support some of our area's youngest entrepreneurs as they showcase their creativity, hard work, and business skills. The Angier Depot Lawn (19 W. Depot St.) will be filled with young makers ages 6–16 offering everything from handmade jewelry, artwork, soaps, candles, baked goods, cotton candy, lemonade, dog treats, flower crowns, keychains, bookmarks, dream catchers, resin art, 3D-printed creations, custom accessories, and much more.

We'll also have a hot dog fundraiser hosted by To Make A Child Smile in the Depot Parking Lot. For just $8, you can enjoy two hot dogs, a bag of chips, and a bottled water, with all proceeds helping less fortunate children in Harnett County. Chamber members Sunny Sips Lemonade and Fat Cat Homemade Ice Cream will also be on site serving up refreshing treats.

This is a great opportunity to encourage and support the next generation of entrepreneurs. Bring the family, shop local, enjoy some great food, and help make these young business owners' day!

NOTICE:

A temporary water service interruption due to a water main break near W Church Street, and areas between 55 and 210 may be without water during this repair. Public Works crews are currently on site working to repair the issue. At this time, the estimated restoration of service is unknown.

We’d like to extend our sincerest appreciation to Lowe's Home Improvement of Garner (Store #488) for their generous donation of DeWalt tools to our Parks & Recreation Department!

One of the tools donated will allow our team to sharpen lawn mower blades in-house, helping us keep our equipment performing at its best while saving time and resources. From routine maintenance projects to enhancing recreational amenities, this donation will help our staff work more efficiently.

Partnerships like these make a meaningful difference, and we are incredibly grateful to Lowe’s for supporting our local community.

The Board of Commissioners will hold a Workshop Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, at 10:00 a.m. in the Town of Angier Annex Building located at 32 W. Williams St. Angier, NC. The purpose of this workshop is to enter a closed session meeting pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)(6) to discuss a personnel matter related to beginning the process of hiring a permanent Town Manager.

CHANGE IN MEETING:
The Public Hearing previously scheduled for June 2, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. before the Town of Angier Board of Commissioners regarding the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year Budget has been rescheduled.

The public hearing will now be held on: June 9, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. located at 28 N. Raleigh St., Angier.

The purpose of the hearing remains unchanged and is to consider the Proposed Budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

All interested citizens are invited to attend and be heard.

FY 2026-2027 TOWN OF ANGIER BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Municipal Budget for the Town of Angier for the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year was submitted to the Town Board of Commissioners of the Town of Angier on May 22, 2026.

A Public Hearing to adopt the Budget Ordinance and Rate & Fee Schedule will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter, in the Board Room of the Municipal Building located at 28 N. Raleigh Street during the regular scheduled meeting of the Angier Board of Commissioners.

The Proposed Budget may be inspected on weekdays in the Town Clerk's office located at Town Hall, 55 N. Broad St. W between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comments.
