The purpose of this contest is to introduce high school 4-H members to utilize skills learned in Food & Nutrition projects and apply them to careers in food science, product development, quality assurance, and food regulatory affairs through a real-world product development challenge Open to Senior age 4-H members (grades 9-12) in the state of Texas.

Entries may be submitted individually or as a team of two students. Each student or team may submit only one entry either as an individual or a team.

We are excited to announce that the 2026 National 4-H Congress event is set for November 27-December 1, 2026, in Atlanta, GA. Therefore, it is now time to have all youth who are interested in attending to apply to serve as a 2026 Texas 4-H Delegate at National 4-H Congress.
