Blood donations are critical for trauma care, and trauma patients often require large amounts of blood, especially in severe cases such as Sgt. JD White's. Donations are crucial in ensuring that hospitals have a sufficient blood supply to meet the needs of all patients, including those in emergency situations. One key ingredient to a great conference is great topics/speakers. And that's what we plan to offer during the SFFMA 148th Annual Training Conference & Convention. This is a Call for Presenters - proposals are being accepted now!

Our planning committee will consider session presentations that reflect the vast needs and experience levels of our fire service community. If you would like to share your knowledge and best practices, we invite you to send us your session proposals for any relevant topic related to fire service, EMS and industrial in preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation.

Be sure to mark June 27-30, 2024 in your calendar! The conference will be in beautiful San Marcos, Texas.

The Brazoria County Firefighter's Association is pleased to announce we will be hosting a NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor 1 class. The Pro Board class will be conducted by TEEX on:

October 27, 28, & 29 and November 3, 4, & 5.

October 27th and November 3rd will be 6:00 to 10:00
All other days will be 8:00 to 5:00
Students will be required to attend all classes.

Cost is $450.00 per student

Classes will be held at the Brazoria County Fire Training Center 605 Kelly Blvd Angleton Texas 77515.

Registration for NFPA 1041 Fire Instructor 1 class is now live on the web at TEEX.org. You can either go to TEEX.org and search for INS100 and select the Angleton class or click this link and find the Angleton class listed here. https://teex.org/class/ins100/ . Either way, each student will need a TEEX student account and to register for the class via the web.

This class qualifies for HB 2604 funding.
