Join staff and volunteers for the kick off of the BC Summer Museum Passport program at the 2nd annual Stephen F. Austin Experience. Fun for all ages! Come and pick up your passport for a summer full of fun and the chance to win cool prizes at the passport wrap up in August. Event is on May 30th, 12-4 pm.
There will be cannon and musket demonstrations at regular intervals so please plan accordingly if there is anyone in your group who is sensitive to loud noises.

Volunteers and staff participated in the San Jacinto event at San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site over the weekend. We visited with more than 1,000 school kids and took part in the battle reenactments on Saturday.

Goliad 190th Anniversary event - Volunteers Frank Dietz and Joe Bodden, and park manager James Glover participated in the Coleto Creek reenactment over the weekend at Presidio la Bahia in Goliad.
Col. J.W. Fannin, commander of the Texan forces during that engagement, lived just outside Brazoria on the San Bernard River.
