Last night, members of the Angola Fire Department were on standby for the final concert at the gazebo of the summer!
🎸 Nerds Gone Wild closed out the summer concert series with a great night of music and fun!
We’re always proud to be there supporting our community and helping keep everyone safe. 🚒❤️

The Angola Fire Department would like to take this time to recognize and honor the passing of Eugene “Gene” Mooney.
Gene was a Life Member of the Angola Fire Department, and we are grateful for his years of dedication, service, and commitment to our department and community.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Gene’s family, friends, and fellow members during this difficult time.
Rest easy, Brother. We’ll take it from here.

The Angola Fire Department was privileged to support the Armor Volunteer Fire Company by maintaining a standby presence at Gate 5 of the Erie County Fair. Our personnel were prepared to address any potential incidents that may have arose, fortunately there was only warm community interactions.

AUGUST 22nd 5:30 AM POWER OUTAGE UPDATE: THE SOUTHWEST PART OF TOWN IS WITHOUT PARTIAL POWER . SOME HOMES ARE EXPERIENCING ONLY PARTIAL POWER WITH GFI OUTLETS CLICKING AND IS RELATED TO ISSUES WITH THE GRID . IT IS RECOMMENDED TO UNPLUG FROM THOSE OUTSIDE UNTIL FULL POWER IS RESTORED.

During last night's training session, our teams engaged in a comprehensive review and refresher of auto extrication techniques. This provided an invaluable opportunity to enhance our proficiencies, familiarize ourselves with our equipment, and reinforce safe and appropriate operational procedures.

Our Angola members thoroughly enjoyed their time with the community at the National Night Out event this past tuesday evening. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone in the community who supports our fire hall, all with all the other Evans fire departments, police, and other town departments.
