Rotary Club of Angola, Indiana We are neighbors, community leaders and global citizens uniting for the common good in Angola, IN, USA and are one of nearly 35,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide

Rotary is a secular organization open to all people regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. There are 34,282 member clubs worldwide. 1.2 million individuals, called Rotarians, have joined these clubs. The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
1. The developm

ent of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
2. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
3. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world of fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

It’s That Time of Year, Silver Angel Tree Nominations Are Open!

The Angola Rotary Club is proud to kick off our annual Silver Angel Tree Program, bringing holiday cheer to seniors in our community who may not have loved ones nearby.
How it works:
✅ We place nomination forms around the community and send them to local nursing homes, assisted living centers, and senior living facilities. Anyone can nominate a senior who could use a little extra joy this season.
✅ We keep all information confidential, each senior is assigned a number, and that number goes on the cards hanging on our Silver Angel Trees.

Soon, you’ll be able to select an angel, shop for gifts, and help us make this holiday season brighter for those who need it most!
📦 Gift Drop-Off Deadline: Friday, December 12
🚚 Delivery Date: Monday, December 15 by local Rotarians
Important: This is not an income-based program. It’s for all seniors who may not have loved ones, or loved ones nearby, during the holidays.

Stay tuned for tree locations and details on how you can participate! Together, we can make a difference.

Angola Rotary served pork burgers at the Cruise In on Wednesday. They were assisted by an awesome group of students from the newly formed Angola Interact Club (Rotary for high school). They did a great job and have a passion for service and their community.
