Angwin Volunteer Fire Station Angwin Volunteer Fire Station is the non-profit association that supports is a 40 volunteer members in the Angwin, CA.

It owns the station and supports the local community. The volunteers and station are apart of the Napa County Fire Department.

From NCFD: Prescribed Burns in Wild Horse Valley and Calistoga area today (6/22/26) and tomorrow (6/23/26). There is no threat to the public.

On June 14 we pushed Engine 618 into service, a tradition in the fire service. This new Type 6 engine that is the swiss army knife of our county fleet packing a big punch in a small package.

🚨 Burn Permit Suspension in North Bay Counties 🚨

Due to increased fire activity, rising temperatures, dry vegetation, and ongoing wildfire risk, CAL FIRE Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit has suspended all residential outdoor burn permits within State Responsibility Areas of Colusa, Lake, Marin, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo counties.

πŸ“… Effective: June 15, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

Residential outdoor burning of landscape debris, including branches and leaves, is no longer permitted.

Residents are encouraged to:

βœ… Maintain 100 feet of defensible space around structures

βœ… Remove dead or dying vegetation

βœ… Use fire-resistant landscaping when possible

βœ… Dispose of yard debris through chipping, green waste, or biomass facilities

As wildfire season intensifies, preparation is key to protecting lives, homes, and communities.

2026 Induction ceremony for the Order of the Sword & Shield, the national honor society for homeland security, intelligence, and emergency management. This was the Emergency Services Program’s largest group of inductees! What a great group of students!
