Committee to Elect David S. Malcolm for WCC Trustee The Committee to Elect David S. Malcolm is asking for your support and a vote of confidence. David Brings with him twenty-one years of employment at WCC.

If elected, Transparency, fiscal responsibility, and communication with the Faculty, Support Staff and Students will remain David's top priority to better enable WCC to move forward as one of the nations top Community Colleges and one of Michigan's top places of employment. Ten years of Custodial Maintenance experience and eleven years as a Campus Services Technician. David completed his Associate

s Degree in Occupational Studies in 2003 and has numerous certificates in Business Sales and Marketing and Photography. David is one of Two Facilities employees to fully fund an endowment with the WCC Foundation. In 2021 The Lela Pitts Educational Endowment was fully funded to help single mothers with their tuition, transportation and childcare while attending WCC. As a dues paying member of AFSCME local 1921, David served for thirteen years as Bargaining Chair and Chief Steward. David has extensive experience and training in negotiating labor contracts, employee- labor relations, grievance procedures and solutions. After completing his prelicensure course at WCC in 2005, David passed his state licensing exam to become a Relator and has since built a very successful Real Estate practice and is currently and Independent consultant with local leader Charles Reinhart Realtors.
