There are seats still available for the final two (2) Blue Card Certification Classes for this year:

- Traverse City - Nov 29-Dec 1

- West Bloomfield - Dec 6-8

If you have staff that are ready to take the class (must have finished the 50-hr online training portion), then please register them ASAP.

We are currently working on the reaccreditation process through the FDSOA and will offer officer classes once again soon!

Thank you to Chief John Vance and Joe Williamson for putting on a great week of Blue Card Train-the-Trainer hosted by RAFT and held at the West Bloomfield FD command training center. Thank you to Chief Greg Flynn for allowing us to use their center. Eight new Blue Card instructors were certified.

Firefighters from many different communities are spending the day learning about critical decision making in the Art of Go/No Go class from Captain Mike Gagliano from Seattle Fire Department. RAFT would like to thank the Troy Fire Department for hosting the class.

Regional alliance for fire fighter training (RAFT) conducted a two day ice rescue train the trainer course. 12 Michigan fire departments sent personnel to the course. RAFT would like to thank the West Bloomfield fire department for hosting the class.
