CJ and Tommy Carr know the heartbreak of losing a sibling all too well. Their little brother, Chad, passed away at just 5 years old from DIPG, a devastating brain cancer with no cure. This year, they’re channeling their love for Chad into action.

They are hosting a RunTough fundraiser in his memory, with every dollar raised going directly to the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. Their determination to make a difference is helping fund the groundbreaking research that gives hope to families facing this disease today.

By supporting their fundraiser, you’re not only honoring Chad’s legacy but also standing with kids and families in the fight of their lives. You can join them by donating to their fundraiser, participating in RunTough, or simply sharing their story. Every action brings us closer to a cure.

💛 Meet Senya one of the Little Victors from our 2025 calendar. “Senya, an 11-year-old from Marquette, Michigan, has displayed extraordinary courage in her fight against acute lymphoblastic leukemia since her diagnosis in October of 2022. Throughout her journey, she has endured five Survival Flight flights, countless chemotherapy infusions and procedures, and encountered various health challenges. Yet, her spirit and her family’s faith have remained strong. On October 17, 2024, Senya celebrated a significant milestone by ringing the bell to mark the end of her chemotherapy infusions. This remarkable achievement reflects the steadfast support from her family and the dedicated team at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. We would love to acknowledge Dr. Walling, Dr. Lao, N.P. Slagle, Mary B., William K., therapy dog Dashiel, the 7 East nurses, and child life specialists who have cared for Senya and our family during this difficult time.” Hail, Senya!

Meet Logan one of our Little Victors from our 2025 calendar. “Logan was diagnosed at 21 weeks gestation with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. This rare genetic condition has created some challenges for Logan, including a truncus arteriosus type 2, a congenital heart defect. He underwent major heart repair at 3-days-old and a conduit replacement at 2.5 years old. Logan's conditions are managed by 11 specialties across Mott, and he is thriving with the care he's received.” Hail, Logan!
