NMU Democrats ENDORSE Abdul El-Sayed for US Senate. After research and discussions within membership, we have decided that Abdul closely aligns with many of the goals and policy ideas of the NMU Democrats and college students as a whole. The campaign’s desire to reach out to leadership on multiple occasions and host an on-campus event with NMU Democrats was also a major deciding factor (we hope to host additional events with him after the primary, so let’s make sure to get him on the ballot in November). Additionally, El-Sayed’s current endorsements make a strong case for the individuals and organizations he associates with — including ones that we associate with or support ourselves.
