This morning I was sworn in as Union County Coroner. This is a position that I do not take lightly. I want to thank everyone for trusting me and allowing me to continue to serve our County. Congratulations to my fellow officer holders that were also sworn in this morning.

Each year the award for “County Clerk of the Year” is awarded in each 4 zones for the Illinois Association of County Clerk’s and Recorders and this year Union County Clerk and Recorder, Lance Meisenheimer received the Clerk of the Year Award in Zone 1, which represents the southern most 37 counties. Next month, all 4 zone winners will be eligible to win Clerk of the Year for the State of Illinois.
