The Maryland Freedom Caucus and the Oversight Project won in court on Tuesday!

The second case was heard yesterday, and that’s WIN #2!

Next up: Thursday at the Maryland Supreme Court.

We are fighting for citizens across our state. Governor Wes Moore is trying to strip away every Republican representative in Maryland's congressional delegation through an illegal redistricting scheme.

Maryland Democrats may have a supermajority, but they STILL have to follow the law.

We will keep fighting to protect fair elections, the rule of law, and the voices of Maryland voters.

Why are 30% or more of the graduate students at the University of Maryland, College Park foreign students who require special visas?

Maryland taxpayers pour enormous sums of money into our flagship public university. Meanwhile, Gov. Wes Moore has imposed more than 300 tax and fee increases, burned through a $5 billion surplus, and now Maryland is staring at massive budget deficits. He has even raised tuition for Maryland residents too.

There is nothing wrong with welcoming some talented foreign students. But 1/3 of the student body?? While American and Maryland students cannot afford college?

A taxpayer-supported state university should have a clear mission to put Maryland students and Maryland taxpayers first.

It comes down to one word: PRIORITIES.

This morning, I joined the celebration of the Huffman Commons, a new facility for the students of Notre Dame Preparatory School.

The facility will be a place for students to meet, gather, and eat thanks to the generous donations of the Huffman Family. It was great to celebrate with the entire student body, faculty, and friends of NDP.

WBFF FOX 45: Republican Del. Kathy Szeliga similarly said she was encouraged by the breadth of Thompson's ruling.

"The judge found in our favor on almost every count. So we're feeling pretty good about it," Szeliga told FOX45.

Szeliga said lawmakers could pursue a constitutional amendment again through a different process, but argued the timing of this year's special session is precisely the problem.

"The legislature can indeed do this, but they'll have to wait until next year, which means it won't be on the ballot this year. It could be on the ballot in 2028," Szeliga said.

Gov. Wes Moore promised to rebuild the Key Bridge in record time. Instead, Marylanders are being told to wait ANOTHER YEAR just to see meaningful progress.

This is a management failure, plain and simple. Governor Moore gets an F-.

Running the State of Maryland is a lot harder than running a nonprofit where Oprah Winfrey can send you another million dollars when you need it. Taxpayers don't have billionaire donors waiting in the wings. They expect competence, accountability, and results.

Meanwhile, the people who actually live and work here are paying the price. Traffic is brutal. Truckers who can't use the tunnels are forced into long detours. Commuters are stuck in daily backups. Tourists and travelers trying to get through Baltimore are caught in the mess.

Big promises. Endless delays. No bridge.

Marylanders deserve better than another Wes Moore press conference. We need results.
