Maryland’s Lt Governor’s dismissive response to Maryland’s mail-in ballot fiasco is almost as troubling as the mistake itself.

Telling voters that “mistakes happen every election” is not an excuse, it is an admission that failure has become acceptable in the Wes Moore Administration.

When hundreds of thousands of ballots must be replaced, citizens have every right to be concerned. Public confidence in elections depends on accuracy, accountability, and transparency, not excuses.

Marylanders deserve better than a government that shrugs its shoulders when a major election error occurs.

Analysis: Wes Moore’s Afghanistan story starts to unravel
Are honesty, transparency and integrity relevant? You decide.

When it comes to military service, the truth matters.

Americans hold our veterans in the highest regard because military service demands sacrifice, integrity, and honor. That’s why any embellishment of a service record is so serious.

According to reporting and Army records, Governor Wes Moore’s public narrative about his military experience appears to differ in important ways from the facts. This is not about diminishing his service. Every honorable service member deserves respect.

It is about honesty.

Voters have a right to expect that elected officials accurately represent their records. When questions arise about military service, awards, or deployments, leaders should answer them directly and transparently.

Trust is hard to earn and easy to lose. Marylanders deserve the full truth, not a carefully crafted political narrative.

Governor Wes Moore has another audit Bombshell. This time, it's Maryland Medicaid (MCPA).

The time for excuses is over. No more blaming Gov Hogan. This is Gov Wes Moore's failure.

$16.7 BILLION spent in FY2025... and auditors just gave it an "Unsatisfactory" rating AGAIN.
Key failures from the May 2026 Legislative Audit:

$2.3M paid for people with no proof of eligibility (income/citizenship)
$9.2M paid for dead or 2,397 incarcerated recipients
$338.3M in nursing home payments with zero required reviews (repeat finding since 2019)
Hundreds of thousands wasted on unneeded services due to delayed approvals
$200.9M in expenditures that weren't even properly recorded
Repeat failures on oversight, third-party recoveries, provider audits, and more

This isn't "compassionate government." This is bureaucratic incompetence on a massive scale, with Maryland taxpayers and the truly needy footing the bill.

It's unbelieveable that taxpayers have been paying for benefits for people who died or are in prison because "MCPA did not have effective processes to identify, prevent, and recover questionable Medicaid payments." No system for accountability.

Time to demand real change is now, not more excuses and bigger budgets.

What a week in Maryland, sigh.

Monday was Memorial Day, starting the week out pretty well.

On Tuesday, Governor Wes Moore signed a bill reducing accountability for violent repeat juvenile offenders while communities are dealing with rising youth violence, teen takeovers, and teen assaults that have made headlines across the country.
Plus, Moore signed the unconstitutional G***k ban bill.

On Wednesday, we learned the state has lost 25 foster children. Then came the announcement that taxpayers will fund summer programs for troubled juveniles. Many Maryland families are struggling to afford summer camp for their own kids, but somehow Wes Moore always finds money for more government programs.

Congress announced that they are investigating Maryland’s mail-in ballot crisis.

On Thursday, a state audit revealed Maryland’s Medicaid program was making payments on behalf of deceased individuals, incarcerated inmates, illegal immigrants, and other ineligible recipients.

This is the pattern: less accountability for criminals, less accountability for government, and a bigger bill for taxpayers.

Let’s hope Friday gives Marylanders a break.

Fact or Fiction 👩🏼‍💻

Wes Moore is claiming he cut taxes for the middle class. This could not be farther from fiction.

Since he took office, we’ve seen over 300 tax and fee increases. Here are a few:
❌ New Paint Tax
❌ Increased Car Registration Fee
❌ Increased Vehicle Excise Tax
❌ Increased Energy Fees
❌ New IT Services Tax

And many more!
