Town Of Annetta

Town Of Annetta Municipality Overview of Annetta: Annetta is an incorporated municipality in east Parker County, Texas.

It is located just to the west of Aledo, between Annetta North and Annetta South. The town's population is approximately 2,830, and its land area is 3.7 square miles. Annetta is mostly a residential and agricultural community, and is the home of the Split Rail Golf Course, Annetta United Methodist Church and the Annetta Cemetery. As a community, Annetta has existed since the late 19th century. How

ever, it was not until 1979 that the area was incorporated as three separate entities, which are the three Annettas. A major reason for their incorporation was the looming threat of Fort Worth annexing the area. The town is in the 76008 ZIP code, and is in the Aledo Independent School District, an Exemplary District.

🚧 The Town’s annual summer road maintenance program recently began following the last day of school, with road preparation already underway. Resurfacing is scheduled to begin next week, weather permitting.

Streets scheduled for resurfacing include Wallis Road, Chapman Court, Royal Oak Drive, Shumard Drive, Portales Drive, and Meadow Glen Court. The Town resurfaces different streets each summer as part of its ongoing road maintenance program, with streets selected based on the condition of the roadway and maintenance needs at the time.

To stay informed about this project and other Town happenings, please visit the Town’s website weekly at www.annettatx.org and click the blinking “Annetta News” tab at the top left of the homepage. A weekly report is posted at the end of each week.

Please stay informed and engaged with what is happening in your community.

Too good not to share again - this drone video from 2018 was coordinated by Council Member Danny Coffman and remains a meaningful Memorial Day tribute.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, service, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

As we reflect on their sacrifice, the Town of Annetta extends our gratitude to all who have served and to the families who continue to carry their legacy.

At last night’s City Council meeting, Finley Van Dyk accepted a plaque from the Town of Annetta to be placed at the live oak tree planted by Aledo 4-H as part of their Earth Day Project. We sincerely appreciate their donation and for choosing the Town of Annetta for this meaningful project.

🛠️This week was National Public Works Week. The 2026 theme is “Rooted in Service, Powered by Community.”

We appreciate everything the Town’s water and wastewater operators do for our community. Their hard work and dedication help keep essential services running smoothly every day, including during after-hours calls and emergency response situations.

Please thank them if you see them around town! The Town is hosting an appreciation cookout to recognize and thank them for all they do for Annetta. 💧👏
