🎉 Exciting news for Oxford City Schools families!
Three of our schools - DeArmanville, Oxford Middle and Oxford High - have received special federal grant funding by the State Department to offer free after-school enrichment programs for the 2025–2026 school year!
Through the OXCEL 21st Century After School Program, students will enjoy academic support, STEM projects, arts and music, fitness activities, college and career prep, and more—all in a safe, structured environment.
⏰ Programs run after school Monday–Friday (DES) or Monday–Thursday (OMS/OHS), starting this fall. For DES: This will replace the existing Extended Day Program. Students who previously attended Extended Day will need to apply to participate in OXCEL.
HOW TO APPLY:
📲 Learn more and complete a student application by visiting our website: https://www.oxfordcityschools.com/parent-and-students-clone-clone/oxcel-after-school-program-des-oms-ohs
✅ Student applications are due by Thursday, July 31, and The student’s primary contact will be notified via email of the status of the application by Friday, August 1, 2025.
We know many families will have questions about why this program isn’t available at all schools. These federal grants were awarded through a competitive process, and while not all campuses were selected by the State Department this year, we’re actively working to expand opportunities like this to more schools in the future. 💛🖤
