Hi everybody, it’s Dewey!
I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Mine was pretty quiet. I was here at the Library, mostly resting and keeping everything under control. There is actually A LOT of time for resting when nobody is around. Somebody has to make sure the Library stays properly supervised, you know.
Today was much more exciting! I had LOTS of treats because EVERYONE seemed to think I needed a treat. I certainly wasn’t going to argue with that! I also had some playtime with FM this morning, followed by some very important resting under my light on Amy’s desk. It’s hard work being Dewey.
But then came a BIG surprise!
Toni and Bill came to visit me! And guess what they brought with them? A BOWTIE!!!
And not just any bowtie. They found one that looks just like the one FM resewed for me. And when I say “resewed,” I am using that word very loosely. Let’s just say FM did her best.
Toni and Bill said I can keep this one as a backup for when my current bowtie finally gives up. And judging by the condition of my current bowtie, that backup may be getting a promotion sooner rather than later!
They also brought me some yummy treats in my gift bag, so obviously Toni and Bill are very good at visiting. I hope they come back soon!
Now I’m going to get some more rest and see what tomorrow brings. Maybe more treats? More visitors? More playtime? Another bowtie?
