REMINDER!!! Please call my office at 256-231-1750 or my cellphone at 256-310-1896 if you have any concerns regarding jury duty or the court system.

It has come to our attention that some of our citizens are receiving calls purportedly from law enforcement stating that the person has missed jury duty and that they must pay money to avoid arrest. This is not true!

We have also learned that many people are receiving multiple calls purportedly from someone in the court system claiming that the person is being sued in Calhoun County. This is not true!

We will never call you for missing jury duty or if you are being sued. We most likely will never call you for any reason, except if you have requested an excusal from jury duty service.
