UPDATE:
19.7% of the registered voters in Calhoun County voted Tuesday. To the 20% that voted, THANK YOU. To the 80% that did not, you can do better fulfilling you obligation.

It is not a privilege to vote but an obligation to those that gave you the opportunity to vote!

Today, we pause to honor and celebrate the mothers who have shaped our families, strengthened our communities, and instilled the values of faith, service, hard work, and love into future generations. 💐
Mothers are often the quiet foundation behind strong homes and strong communities, giving endlessly of themselves to care for others, encourage those around them, and lead with compassion and wisdom.
The Calhoun County Republican Party wishes a very Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, grandmothers, foster mothers, adoptive mothers, and the women who have stepped into nurturing roles with grace and love.

Tonight, a forum was scheduled, presented by the Chamber of Commerce, Public Affairs Committee for District 40 candidates. Due to the Special Session of the Alabama State Legislature it has been postponed until the 14th day of May from 5 PM until 7 PM at the Jacksonville Public Safety Complex. The same venue as was scheduled today. In the interest to being fair to all candidates is the reason for the cancelation, we apologize for the late notice and hope to see you on the 14th. Please put it on your calendar.
