In these past weeks, After months of intensive training, I am proud to announce that I have completed the Mass Communication Foundations course at the Defense Information School (DINFOS) at Fort Meade, Maryland.

What began years ago as an 88M Motor Transport Operator eventually led me to Public Affairs, where I discovered a passion for photography, storytelling, and strategic communication. DINFOS provided the opportunity to refine those skills through training in journalism, photography, videography, graphic design, multimedia production, and public affairs operations.

Throughout the course, I had the privilege of learning alongside talented service members from every branch of the military, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives to the classroom. Together, we developed the skills needed to inform, engage, and tell the stories of our military communities.

As I return home to continue serving with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, I look forward to applying these new skills to support Soldiers, leaders, and missions through effective communication and visual storytelling.Thank you to the instructors, staff, mentors, and fellow students who made this experience possible.From vehicle operator to mass communicator—the journey continues.
