It's voting time! Polls are open until 8pm and I'd be honored to earn your vote.

From taking a stand on a new location for an expanded jail to finding room in the budget to hire our first social worker, I'm determined to find solutions - based on what I'm hearing from you and what data says is effective. Contact me to let me know your thoughts, concerns, and questions.

A strong council takes teamwork, and I'm ready to work together as a community. Please also vote for Sam Scott for Anoka City Council as part of that team.

It's Primary day! Whether you're in the city of Anoka or elsewhere in the county, get out and have your voice heard!

Here in Anoka, Sam Scott and Marissa Carroll have such vibrant grounds they are standing on. As Sam continues to push our city through alternate revenue growth with the outrageous ACC, Anoka is becoming a leader in how smaller cities can work differently!

If you haven't felt the great energy for these candidates yet, take a peek at their pages - and get out for YOUR vote!

Every neighborhood matters!

Check out Marissa for Anoka's take on representation in Anoka's City Council races. And trust me, this is relevant whether you live in Anoka or not!

You can't fully advocate for issues you don't experience. North of the tracks deserves representation that lives there.

Primary is August 11. Let's stand for each other.

Just over 100 days before the election! It's time for dialogue, good ideas, and good candidates!

A few issues we'll be digging into this month include the City of Anoka races including the municipal waste issue on the ballot, the outrageous work of Parents for Good, AND the amazing candidates elsewhere in the county.

Of course, a little extra SALT for the federal absurdity as usual. One love; we stand for each other. Cheers!

THIS Wednesday, June 17! It's a busy day in Downtown Anoka, kicking off America's 250th Birthday! Come for live music, a farmer's market, and more; AND you can help save our schools while you're at it!

Stop at one of the Parents for Good locations; all it takes is your signature to let Anoka-Hennepin voters have their say in school funding.

See you there!

There is nothing more American than the right to vote. Join us in Downtown Anoka during the 250th Anniversary Celebration, we will have volunteers all over! Tell the School Board it is time to Let Us Vote to support our public schools!

As we head toward No Kings this Sunday, Anoka SALT won’t be holding a protest in Anoka this weekend.

Instead, we’ll be joining Indivisible North Metro on the Champlin bridge Sunday morning, 10–11, in solidarity and in remembrance of Melissa and Mark Hortman, one year after their lives were taken.

Plenty of places to be! However you choose to make your voice heard this weekend: lead with love. 🙌

Anoka Pride Day delivered!

What a day for art, connection, and community in Anoka.

The unexpected corner dance party? Chef’s kiss. To everyone who leaned in, thank you!

Celebration was LOUD!

To the dancers, flag bearers, kings and queens, sponsors, performers, artists, vendors, and of course Anoka Pride:

Thank you for all the work.

Community wins. 🙌🥰

Looking for more community engagement for Mayday?? Consider joining Parents for Good on Friday 5/1 to help clean up John Ward / Rocket Park in Anoka!

Planing to go?? Be sure to RSVP via their link!

Details below! 🙌

If you’re looking for a simple way to get outside and connect with people this week, here’s one idea.

On May 1st, we’re gathering at John Ward (Rocket) Park for a community clean-up. Nothing complicated, just neighbors showing up, picking up the space we all share, and spending some time together.

Kids are welcome to come along, play, and be part of it too. Stay for a bit or hang out the whole time whatever works for you.

It’s a small thing, but these are the kinds of moments that build a strong, connected community over time.
