Today we hosted 23 Agrilife Extension Agents, Administrators, & Specialists from District 7 for a Professional Development day in Jones County!

A big thank you to Jon David Moore at Pied Piper Farms and Kevin Burns with Easley Trailer Sales for taking time to visit and show us around their operations! A great day of learning!

There are many tools in the toolkit for preventing and treating New World screwworm (NWS). The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized and conditionally approved drugs available for NWS infestation and prevention. Animal owners and livestock producers are advised to contact their veterinarian to receive direction on the appropriate product for their animals.
