The Portland Fire Department gave Katie an awesome cap helping to shield her so she can go enjoy being outside❤️🧢.

There are many of you who follow our page who may be connected to fire departments across the country. We would like to collect some "Caps for Katie" so she can have choices and and also give her some much-needed cheer while she is healing from her injuries from the Searsmont fire at Robbins Lumber, so we are asking for your help, with her permission ❤️.

Specifically fire department caps from across America (or beyond if we reach that far)!

Edit: Some have asked about cards and YES cards are welcome as well. ❤️

Clusters of slow moving thunderstorms will bring a risk of flash flooding to portions of Maine and New Hampshire later today into
tonight. Storm development will support rainfall rates up to 3 inches an hour. These slow moving and repeating rounds of heavy rain could lead to localized and possibly considerable flash flooding. For Carroll County New Hampshire, recent flooding has elevated
streams and saturated the ground, making this area particularly vulnerable to any rapid runoff.

Our "forever" Christmas Tree has been set! With many thanks to Jeremy and Mallori Manzer for donating the tree, Mattingly Products for letting us borrow the tree scoop and Partridge & Kids Construction for the equipment to transport and plant the tree! ☆

We will be along side Solon Fire Department in donating all our in house bottles as well! Yesterday afternoon we responded to a structure fire on Winter Street in our North Village. We would like to thank ALL our mutual aid departments for their quick response, Rick Caldwell for being in the right place at the right time and our community members for helping drag hose at the beginning when our personnel was scarce. We appreciate it.
