oops! Summer Reading Packet Update!

Our Summer Reading Packets were supposed to be ready this week, but after a design mishap and a battle (which we lost) with a tri fold brochure and our printer, we've decided to push packet pickup back to Monday June 8th!

The good news? The packets will look even better when they're finished!

Thank you for your patience while we get everything ready. We promise it'll be worth the wait, and we can't wait to kick off a summer full of reading, prizes and library fun!!!

Cue the tiny tuxes and sparkly dresses...Baby Prom was a vibe. 💃🏽🕺🏽

Our littlest party people walked the red carpet like superstars, striked poses at the photo station and got their moments. The sensory table was filled with "prom-proms", a sea of colorful pom-poms, which was the perfect break between dance floor debuts.

And, because no prom is complete without a little flair, our guests created corsage and boutonnieres using velcro and felt flowers- which proved to be 100% toddler approved fashion statements!

Huge shoutout to DJ Austin from Red Supreme Productions, who kept the floor hoppin' and to our families that came out to celebrate. Baby Prom was "prom-ises" kept and memories made 💕

Well...this post is a little late, but too good not to share!

Last month, we hosted one of the most magical collaborations of all time (and, there's been a bunch!)... "Symphony Goes to the Zoo", featuring our incredible friends from the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, the Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo and the Ansonia Nature and Recreation Center!

Families and children had the opportunity to see and hear instruments and meet amazing animals, making connections between music and nature, and we are so grateful to our partners for bringing their passion and expertise to the City of Ansonia, and to all the families who joined us and made it such a joyful day.

We’re feeling the community love! 💚 Huge thanks to the Naugatuck Valley Health District for donating awesome new books all about the importance of clean air...our shelves (and our lungs!) are grateful!

And, a big shoutout to Neighborhood Forest for gifting evergreen trees for families to plant in their yards. Get ready to dig in, grow something amazing, and make our community a little greener, one tree at a time! 🗺️
