Turn your time at the pool into a paid summer job and join the Sunrise Recreation & Park District aquatics team! If you're 15 or older, you can become a Certified Lifeguard through our American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and get the skills you need to work poolside this summer.
Not only will you learn how to save lives and respond to emergencies, you’ll also gain certifications that look great on resumes and college applications. Plus, lifeguarding is one of the most fun summer jobs around—working outside, making friends, and being part of an awesome team.
💲 Fee: $200
🎓 Certifications Included:
• Lifeguard Training
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED
• Oxygen Administration
• First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22)
📋 Prerequisites:
• Must be 15 by the last class date
• Swim–Tread–Swim sequence
• Timed brick retrieval
