What an unforgettable day at North Country! 🌈☀️

Our students had an amazing time during today’s Color Run and outdoor activity stations filled with teamwork, laughter, movement, and school spirit! From field day-style games to getting covered in color, the energy on campus was incredible.

We also loved welcoming back former North Country students who are now graduating from Center High School! Seeing our CHS graduates return to where their journey began was such a special reminder that once you’re part of the North Country family, you’re always part of it. 💙🎓

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a fun and memorable experience for our students!

At the beginning of the school year, our School Resource Officer, Officer Brito, took the time to connect with and support one of our students. After learning about the student’s interests, Officer Brito surprised him with the full Lightning Thief series — showing not only that he listened, but that he cared enough to follow through on his word.

As this student prepares for middle school, Officer Brito continues to encourage, support, and inspire him along the way. These are the moments that make a lasting impact on our students’ lives.

Blooming with hope. 🌻✨

Our latest student-led chalk mural is a breath of fresh air. A powerful reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health and that no matter what, there is hope. Using chalk and a lot of heart, Alisa captured the beauty of growth and resilience.

A ‘paws-itively’ wonderful day at school! 🐾💚

To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, our students had a special visit from Capital Therapy Dogs 🐶 Not only did they get plenty of pets and comfort, but they also learned about the vital role therapy dogs play in supporting emotional well-being.

A huge thank you to the volunteers for sharing their time and their furry friends with us!

💚 Mental Health Awareness 💚

Students participated in activities to practice healthy coping skills. They got to make a breathing stick, shred their negative feelings and wash away their worries 🙌🏼 This was hosted by Ms. Haslam (school counselor) and Mr. Gray (school psychologist) 😁
