An escaped fire often starts with good intentions: Taking care of your property, or enjoying a fun night in the wilderness. But as the weather gets warmer and drier, we're entering prime time for wildfires. Fire safety starts with knowing the conditions and the regulations for your area; we've got a handy-dandy interactive map tool for that! https://www.oregon.gov/odf/Fire/Pages/Restrictions.aspx

One of America's most beloved icons, Smokey Bear, celebrates his 75th birthday this Friday. His message that all of us have a role in preventing wildfires remains as relevant as ever. Do your part by following local fire restrictions, and don't let unnecessary wildfires start. https://www.oregon.gov/ODF/Fire/Pages/Restrictions.aspx
