Gadsden High School is proud to welcome Mr. Efrain Garcia as the new Head Boys Soccer Coach! ⚽🐾

Coach Garcia brings passion, leadership, and dedication to our Panther family, and we are excited for the future of GHS Boys Soccer under his leadership. We know he will inspire our student-athletes both on and off the field as we continue building a strong soccer team at Gadsden High School.

A community meeting will be scheduled soon for all students and families interested in participating in soccer during the summer and the upcoming school year. More information regarding the date, time, and location will be shared soon.

Please join us in congratulating Coach Garcia and welcoming him to this new role!

Coach Garcia llega con pasión, liderazgo y dedicación a nuestra familia Panther, y estamos muy emocionados por el futuro del programa de fútbol de GHS bajo su liderazgo. Sabemos que inspirará a nuestros estudiantes-atletas tanto dentro como fuera del campo mientras seguimos fortaleciendo el equipo de soccer en Gadsden High School.

This morning, Gadsden High School celebrated more than a graduation — we celebrated years of hard work, sacrifice, growth, and unforgettable memories.

To the Class of 2026, thank you for leaving your mark on GHS. We are so proud of the leaders, athletes, artists, scholars, and young men and women you have become. Your future is bright, and this community will always be cheering for you.

To our families, staff, district leadership, security, custodians, coaches, sponsors, and everyone who helped make tonight special — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It truly took a village to create a beautiful and memorable celebration for our graduates.

Once a Panther, always a Panther. Congratulations Class of 2026! 🐾❤️

Today we proudly celebrated our incredible Gadsden Independent School District Project SEARCH graduates! 🎓✨

This accomplishment represents much more than completing a program. it reflects perseverance, growth, determination, and the courage to believe in new possibilities. Throughout this journey, our students have gained valuable job skills, confidence, independence, and experiences that will open doors for their future careers and lives.

We are incredibly proud of each graduate for the hard work, dedication, and resilience they demonstrated every step of the way. Your success inspires our entire community and reminds us that with support, opportunity, and determination, anything is possible.

A special thank you to the families, staff, mentors, and community partners who walked alongside our students and helped make this journey possible. Your encouragement and commitment have made a lasting impact.

What an incredible day for GHS Track & Field at the State Track Meet at UNM!

A huge congratulations to Ms. Melanie Gaytan and Ms. Jazbrie Alvarado for representing Gadsden High School with pride, determination, and heart. We are especially proud to congratulate Melanie Gaytan for earning an outstanding 2nd Place finish! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment truly paid off, and the entire GHS community is cheering you on!

Thank you to our amazing coaches for an unforgettable track season and for the countless hours spent supporting and guiding our student-athletes throughout the year. A very special thank you to our parents and families for your continued encouragement, sacrifices, and support every step of the way. Your support means the world to our students and our program.

This morning was a very special and bittersweet day for the GHS family. As we watched our seniors drive through campus during the senior caravan and complete their final checkout, we were reminded of just how much this Class of 2026 means to all of us.

Over the years, these students have filled our halls with energy, laughter, school spirit, resilience, and unforgettable memories. It is hard to imagine GHS without them.

To our seniors: thank you for the memories, the pride you brought to our school, and the legacy you leave behind. We are beyond proud of you and cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish. Once a panther, always a panther.

🎓 107 seniors from Gadsden High School are graduating with more than a diploma. They are earning the prestigious New Mexico Bilingual Seal, demonstrating proficiency in both English and Spanish and preparing themselves to lead, communicate, and succeed in an increasingly connected world.

These graduates are entering college, careers, and their communities with the powerful advantage of bilingualism, biliteracy, and cultural competence. We are incredibly proud of these students for achieving excellence not once, but twice.
