Sending a huge, heartfelt, Thank You to everyone who helped pull off a successful primary election yesterday. With the help of City & County team members to set up, take down, and keep things running, Poll Workers generously spending their ENTIRE day with us, and a good neighbor stopping by to save the day, we were able to provide a positive voting experience for the residents of Harper County. Thank you to all who helped, and everyone who voted! Come back on November 3rd for the General Election!

This is a reminder that delinquent 2025 real estate taxes will be sent to the newspaper next week. To ensure your name is not published, full payment must be received by 5:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2026.

If you would like to verify whether your taxes have been paid, please call the Treasurer's Office at 620-842-5191.

Vote Early in the Clerk's Office of the Harper County Courthouse between the hours of 8:00 and 5:00 Monday through Friday, and get first dibs on a HPCO Original "I Voted" Sticker!

Early Voting ends at Noon Monday, August 3rd.

Harper County is holding a public hearing this Thursday on proposed zoning regulations for Commercial Solar Energy Systems (CSES) in the unincorporated areas of the county.

If you see one of our EMS crew members around town this week — at the gas station, grabbing coffee, or shopping at the store — stop and tell them thank you.

These folks drop everything at a moment's notice to be there on the worst day of someone's life. A simple "thank you" from a neighbor means more than you know. 🙏
