📋 Harper County Community Planning Update

Two important planning initiatives are underway in Harper County — and your voice matters!

🗺️ Comprehensive Plan
Harper County is working to adopt a new Comprehensive Plan to help guide long-term community growth and public policy decisions. This plan was shaped by local residents, a Steering Committee, and the Planning Board — and reflects what OUR community wants for its future.

📅 PUBLIC HEARING: May 28th
The Planning Board will hold a public hearing on May 28th to consider adoption of the Comprehensive Plan. We encourage all residents to attend and make their voices heard!

☀️ Commercial Solar Energy Regulations
The Board of County Commissioners has also directed that new zoning regulations be developed for Commercial Solar Energy Systems (CSES). These regulations will establish a clear review and approval process for solar projects in Harper County, including utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems.
