Families are invited to celebrate Father’s Day with a special hike and prayer experience at Sierra de Cristo Rey on Saturday, June 20, 2026. at 7 a.m. at Cristo Rey Rd. / McNutt Rd. (NM 273) in Sunland Park, NM. The event, hosted by St. John Paul II Catholic Church, honors fathers and their children through faith, reflection, and community.

Some incredibly fun and creative projects happening in Crochet class. You might look at these cute little flat animal faces and think they're just potholders, well you're right but here is a fun fact: some are potholders and some are actually used to keep tortillas warm! 🌮🐓🐷 Nothing beats crafting with good company and making things that are both adorable AND practical for the kitchen.

Today, our WInC volunteers headed out to Applegate Park to support local at the Vinton TX Farmers Market! ☀️🪴

We were so thrilled to bump into some of our amazing participants, including the Cervantes family, who had a fantastic setup selling flan, cheesecake, cookies, refreshing aguas frescas, and the cutest little crochet buddies. 🧶🍰

We grabbed some delicious aguas frescas to enjoy there and brought a pineapple cheesecake and flan back with us. The cheesecake? Devoured instantly. 🤤 But before we did manage to capture a photo of the flan. 📸 Not only did it look great, but it tasted incredible.

Location: Sports Complex - 4700 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008

What’s Happening?
There will be plenty of fun and resources to get students ready for the classroom (available while supplies last):

Free Backpacks & School Supplies

Grooming Accessories & Haircuts

Uniforms (used/good/washed) & New Tennis Shoes (for boys and girls)

Live Music, Lunch for the Kids, & Jumping Balloons!

📣 Plus, a special Prep Rally for teachers, counselors, and staff!

If you would like to support the students, donations are being accepted for elementary and middle school sizes until 7/20/26 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Sports Complex. They are currently looking for:

Backpacks filled with school supplies

Used/good/washed uniforms

New tennis shoes for boys and girls
