APL is partnering with Langlade County 4-H to bring you Lego Club!

Youth do not need to be current 4-H members to participate in LEGO Club. An official registration form must be completed to secure your youth's place in the 4-H LEGO Club.

Please complete this form to indicate your interest in participating. Completing this interest form does not guarantee a spot in the program but will help us plan for the upcoming year.

Families who complete this form will receive registration information before October 1.

APL is hosting a Library Card Design Contest to celebrate National Library Card Sign-Up Month! Design a library card in your favorite art medium in a 2:3 or 4:6 ratio and return your submission to the library by September 30th, 2026. We have sheets you can pick up at the library with correctly measured space for your design!

Once all submissions have been turned in patrons will be able to vote on the winning design from October 5-23rd, so make sure you stop in and take a look at everyone's art and vote for your favorite!

We will not only be announcing the winner on October 26th, but they will also have their artwork showcased on the APL website from November 2026-October 2027 and have printed vinyl stickers of their work given out at all offsite summer 2027 reading events. The winner will also receive a dozen printed copies of their work to share.

We are so excited to see everyone's art!

Hi everyone-we are putting Crochet Club and the Community Quilting Bee on a hiatus until September. We are doing a lot of reorganization and cleaning in the McGinley room so that things will fit the needs of the groups better.

When the groups start back up Crochet will be the First Thursday of each month from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Quilting will be the Fourth Saturday from 9:30am-1:30pm.

Until then please enjoy the weather and music in the park!

Stop by the library today while you are downtown enjoying the Badgerland Classics car show and Art on the Ave. We are having a book sale from 10AM - 2PM by the West door. $1 a book or $10 for a bag (bring your own bag or get a bag from us). We've restocked the carts after last week's sale. We also have Pizza and Puzzles from 11:15AM-1PM - there are three pizzas being delivered, one pepperoni, one sausage, one plain cheese. First come, first serve until it is gone. Enjoy the beautiful weather and have a great weekend.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the book sale. We raised $116 dollar. We have purchased two copies of Theo of Golden in large print. One that patrons can place holds on and another that will be for the Lucky Day selection. We will share when they are available. Elizabeth will be choosing another two large prints to add to the Lucky Day selections for large print. Next Saturday we will hold another outside book sale (weather permitting) from 10AM-2PM by the west entrance. Have a wonderful weekend in the beautiful weather we are having.
