🚨 NEW NOTARIES: QUICK QUESTION...

Have you ever finished a signing, packed everything up, and started heading toward the shipping drop... only to suddenly wonder:

"Wait... were scanbacks required on this file?" 😳

I did that!

One of the easiest mistakes to make is assuming the package is complete because the signing is complete.

But scanbacks are part of the assignment.

Miss them, and you may find yourself turning around, reopening packages, rescanning documents, making phone calls, and losing valuable time.

That's why my No Go Back habits are simple:

✅ Confirm scanbacks are required
✅ Schedule time to do them
✅ Scan before you ship
✅ QC every scanned page
✅ Save proof of upload

The notaries who don't go back aren't lucky.

They prepare before they ever leave.

The internet says stop taking low-paying signing service work.

QC Authority says slow down.

⚠️I almost sent a signing package back with an issue I should’ve caught.

📝Three signers. Same loan. Three different versions of their name by page four.
Not because they were difficult. Because I said two words and moved on without showing them what I actually meant.

👉🏼"Sign as indicated."

I've been a notary long enough to know better. But in that moment — I assumed. And assumptions at the signing table are expensive.

❌No go-back fee. No guarantee everyone's available for round two. Just a phone call to title I never want to make again.
If you've ever said "sign as indicated" and hoped for the best — this one's for you. Watch until the fix. It's a 30-second habit that changes everything.
