The most important thing you can do right now is check the status of your ballot by using California’s official ballot tracker.

If your ballot isn’t marked as “accepted,” you should call your county elections office to find out what the concern is and to see if you can fix it – sometimes it’s as simple as having forgotten to sign the back of the ballot and all you need to do is come into the office to sign it to make sure your ballot is accepted and counted.
