Antioch Rescue Squad The Antioch Rescue Squad is a non-for-profit corporation dedicated to those in need of emergency medical care of the sick or injured in the Antioch Community.

Further, the Antioch Rescue Squad is devoted to education of the general public in first aid. Since 1940, members of the Antioch Rescue Squad have given time, talent, sweat, tears, and often their own blood in order that others in need may be given comfort - care - support - and the best emergency medical treatment available, and never would the members ask for compensation. ad operates without placing a tax burden on the public. The majority of our operating budget is derived from contributions and memorials from our good friends, neighbors, and civic organizations.

Today we lost a friend, mentor, and true advocate for EMS. Rest in peace Amy Ludford. You touched the lives of many generations of ARS volunteers and countless patients throughout northern Lake County - we are forever grateful.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share that our friend and colleague, Vista Health/North Lake County EMS Manager/Coordinator Amy Ludford, suddenly died this morning. Amy was an amazing nurse, mentor, friend, colleague, educator, and leader for many years in the northern Illinois area. Godspeed Amy. Your dedication, wisdom and guidance will be missed by so many.
