🥾🎉 Filling the Boot is a team effort!

Personnel across the Nashville Fire Department are stepping up to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association—including members of our Quality Improvement (QI) team and our REACH team, a co-response program that provides compassionate support during mental health incidents.

Whether enhancing patient care behind the scenes, responding to people experiencing a mental health crisis or collecting donations in the community, our personnel are committed to making a difference.

Every division, every team and every donation helps us move closer to a future without muscular dystrophy. Thank you to everyone helping NFD **Fill the Boot!** ❤️💪

This past Saturday! 🚒💪 Our crews in District 3 stayed busy with two different trainings:
🔥 Extrication Training:
Huge thanks to Chief Toby Baker and West Nashville Wrecker Service! The crews from Engine 11, Squad 11, and Tower 2 sharpened their skills using spreaders and cutters at their facility. 🛠️🚗
💧 Pump Training:
The team at Station 3 worked with new members, giving them a solid basic pump class. Several neighbors stopped by, curious about what we were doing, and we were able to share the purpose behind our training.
This weekend was a great reminder of how dedicated our companies are to staying sharp and serving the public we swore to protect. ❤️💙🙏📢🚒💯
