ANTLERS MAN ARRESTED ON CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE CHARGES

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
AUGUST 14, 2026

ANTLERS, OK - On June 24, 2026, the Pushmataha County District Attorney's Office requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate a child sexual abuse case.

During the investigation, OSBI special agents identified the suspect as 61-year-old Robert Shircliff.

Based on the information and evidence gathered during the investigation, on August 4, 2026, a felony arrest warrant was issued for Shircliff by the Pushmataha County District Court on multiple child sexual abuse charges.

On that same day, Shircliff was arrested by the Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Pushmataha County Jail.

This is still an ongoing investigation. If you suspect your child may have had inappropriate contact with Shircliff, please contact the OSBI tip line at [email protected] or 1-800-522-8017.

The OSBI appreciates the Pushmataha County District Attorney's Office, Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Office, and the Antlers Police Department for their continued assistance with this investigation.

OSBI INVESTIGATES OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING IN FORT TOWSON

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
JULY 27, 2026

FORT TOWSON, OK – On July 26, 2026, the Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate an officer-involved shooting.

At around 4:15 p.m., a Pushmataha County Sheriff deputy responded to a residence at 436724 East 1955 Road in Fort Towson regarding an assault call. When the deputy arrived on scene, they made contact with 34-year-old Parker Taylor, who began throwing rocks at the deputy’s vehicle, busting the front windshield.

Taylor brandished a knife and began walking toward the deputy. The deputy provided commands for Taylor to drop his weapon; however, he did not comply, resulting in an officer-involved shooting.

Taylor was treated on scene for his injuries and transported to a local hospital in stable condition. There were no other injuries during the shooting.

This is still an ongoing investigation. Once the OSBI completes their investigation, they will provide their report to the United States District Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma for review.

The OSBI appreciates the Pushmataha County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation for their continued assistance with this investigation.
