The Antrim Police Department is honored to support New England Run for the Fallen, a meaningful event dedicated to honoring and remembering the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

As the runners make their way through our community, we’ll be there to help support the event and ensure a safe route for everyone involved.

***Update*** Dixie has been reunited with her owner. Thank you.

Ms. ‘Dixie’, a lost tan German Shepherd who is currently hanging out safely at the Antrim Police Department while we try to reunite her with her family. She was found roaming around on Elm Avenue this afternoon. Wearing a bandana with Dixie on it.

🚧 **TRAFFIC ADVISORY – CLINTON ROAD PAVING** 🚧

**Friday, July 31, 2026**

Please be advised that Continental Paving is paving Clinton Road today.

Work is beginning at the intersection of Keene Road (Route 9) and will progress toward downtown Antrim throughout the day.

🚦 Alternating one-way traffic will be in effect while paving operations are underway. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible.

The alternating traffic pattern is expected to remain in place until approximately 4:00 PM today.

Please slow down, follow the directions of traffic control personnel, and use extra caution when traveling through the work zone to help keep both workers and motorists safe.

**News Release**

Hillsboro, NH – On July 30, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Hillsboro Police Department received a report that a vehicle had intentionally rammed another vehicle. Following the collision, the suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a knife before fleeing the scene.

Officers subsequently located the suspect vehicle at a residence on Bog Road. The suspect remained inside the residence for a short period while officers established a perimeter and attempted to make contact. The incident was resolved peacefully, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect has been identified as,
Kenneth R Coffin, age 78, of Hillsboro.

Coffin has been charged with:
Reckless Conduct (Deadly Weapon)
Attempted Second Degree Assault (Deadly Weapon)
Criminal Threatening
Conduct After an Accident.

He was ordered held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending an appearance before the court. Bog Road in the area of Melody Lane was briefly closed due to the incident but has since reopened. The Hillsboro Police Department was assisted by the Antrim and Henniker Police Departments, as well as the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Found near Elm and Bridle. Attempting to locate the owner. The dog is friendly but not willing to let us close enough to bring them on a car ride back to the PD. If you own this pup or know the owners please call Officer Girard at 603 588 6613.
