We are a 4 person ladder company in the city of Apache Junction, a single company house. We specialize in forcible entry/ventilation, extrication, suppression, EMS & Paramedicine, and technical rescue. This truck is a busy company and can run 18 calls in a 24 hour period. he apparatus was put into reserve status. A reserve engine is used as a ladder tender when our frontline ladder truck is out of service mechanical. Our trucks have swapped stations. Ops put our 2013 85' Pierce Quantum Platform out at Station 4 in Gold Canyon. We are running out of their old ladder, a 2008 75' Pierce Quantum stick. The Superstition Fire/Medical District was organized in 1955 as a volunteer fire department. In the mid 80's it changed to a combination career and paid-on-call (POC) department. In the late 90's it went to an all career fire department. The quarters of L263 were formerly on East 18th Ave, now fleet services. At that time Engine 263 was housed there. The new house was completed in 1999 on South Idaho Rd, and shortly after we took delivery of the 1st Truck, L263, a 1999 ALF. This is not a dry ladder, but a quint. We do have a 1500gpm pump. Currently Truck 263 is a 2008 Pierce Quantum 75' Stick. This house currently houses (as of 19Dec2015):
