Thank you to the SAFER Conference for allowing my company Fully Involved Training LLC of Apex to have played a part in helping Our First Responders gain valuable knowledge on the Hidden Dangers with today's EV / HEV and CNG vehicles. Last week with help of Matt Thorpe from GTCC I was able to present my Alternative Fuel Vehicle Classes for Our Fire Responders in the Guildford County Community. Special thanks to Steve Cobb and Craig Johnson from GFL providing a CNG Unit, Andrew Fingal from Green Ford for providing a Ford Mach E, Greensboro Nissan Erick Escobar for providing a Nissan Ariya, Greensboro Acura Chris Roque for providing an Acura 2DX, and Leah Cromer from Toyota of Greensboro for providing a BZ4X, Li Fire Blanket for providing the Blanket, and Turtle Fire Systems for providing The Turtle. I would like to Thank NCSFA for allowing me to teach my Alternative Fuel Vehicle class at the SAFER Conference Wednesday August 7, 2024. I also want to Thank James Cole Deputy Chief of Operations for the Durham Fire Department from donating his Ford F-150 Lightning, Jon Phillips of Dominion Gas for donating his CNG F-150, Craig Johnson of GFL for donating their CNG truck, and Matt Faden from Turtle Fire Systems for donating their Suppression system.
