CALLING ALL CANIACS 🏒

Want a photo with your favorite Hurricanes player?! Stop by the John M. Brown Community Center any time during open hours to take a photo with (relatively 😊) life-size player cutouts. They'll be around through the final game of the series, so come snap a selfie and cheer on the Carolina Hurricanes with us!

Splashlantis Update ‼

We know many of you have been looking forward to cooling off at the Pleasant Park splash pad. Unfortunately, due to a delay in the delivery of repair parts, it won't be reopening as we had hoped on June 13.

Our team is working to complete the repairs as quickly as possible, and we're now aiming to reopen after June 17. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we get everything ready. Once it reopens, the splash pad will be open daily through Labor Day weekend.

Our 2nd annual Coach Appreciation & Family Field Day was a fantastic celebration of the dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy and passion to our young athletes. Last year alone, our coaches contributed more than 50,000 volunteer hours helping kids learn and grow through sports.

We were honored to recognize their impact while enjoying a fun-filled day with coaches, players and their families. We couldn't run this level of programming without these volunteers!

FYI ‼ The athletic lights at Apex Nature Park are currently out of service due to an electrical issue. This impacts the multipurpose fields, tennis courts, and pickleball courts.

Facilities staff will be on site on June 9th to work on repairs.

Splashlantis Update 🚨

The splash pad at Pleasant Park is currently closed for repairs. We anticipate reopening on June 13, pending completion of the repairs.

Once reopened, the splash pad will be open daily through Labor Day weekend. Thank you for your patience while we work to get everything back up and running!
