The Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department #102 is an ALL-volunteer fire company in Westmoreland County Pennsylvania. As a volunteer company no member ever receives money or compensation for their time or work. Our members young and old are what make this volunteer organization a success.
On Oct 25, 2026, from 12:00pm until 6:00pm we are having a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser for our Life Member "BIG" Steve Nossek. During the event an array of Raffle Baskets will be available too.
The event will take place in our Social Hall located at:
4078 State Route 66

Steve joined the department as a young man and was always one of our most reliable members. He cooked, cleaned, answer calls and was our chief engineer. You only had to ask and Steve was there to help. Even after it became difficult for him to walk, he still showed up at swap meets to help guide us and make his famous "Big Steve's Chili".
Currently Steve is residing in a Health and Rehab Center. We would like to raise money to help make his life a little easier and stand by him as he always stood by this fire company.
