Today, May 29, 2026, is National Heat Awareness Day. Beat the heat by staying indoors or in the shade. Also make sure to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and prevent heat related illnesses such as dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
Heat illness symptoms to look out for:
• Muscle cramps & weakness
• Heavy sweating
• Cool, pale, clammy skin
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Nausea or vomiting
• Confusion
