The village will be flushing hydrants today. This may stir up sediment in the lines. If you find that your water looks abnormal or contains sediment run your tap until the water returns to normal.

The Village will be flushing hydrants Monday, March 6th. While this is a necessary process it quite frequently can stir up sediment in the lines. If you encounter this problem there is no reason to panic, simply run a faucet in your home until the water runs clear again.

With temperatures dropping, we suggest trickling a sink in your home. The stream only needs to be about the thickness of a pencil, and that should prevent pipes from freezing.

It’s that time of year again. Residents should trickle atleast one sink in the home (water running needs to be no thicker than the diameter of a pencil) to prevent lines from freezing.

Starting Monday or Tuesday Fischer will begin working on the water main on Maple Street. Road will be open to local traffic only throughout the duration of the project. We ask that if you do not live on that street to please refrain from traveling it. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Our water test samples came back clean. The boil order has been lifted.
