Tomorrow is our Optimist Club meeting, and we’ll be diving into fundraising ideas and planning for the upcoming year! 💡🎉

We’d love for everyone to bring their optimism, enthusiasm, creativity, and any ideas you may have to help us continue making a positive impact in our community. No idea is too big or too small — sometimes the best ideas come from simple conversations! 😊

This Saturday, our community has the privilege of celebrating an incredible milestone as Tom Schibush marks his 50th year walking for March of Dimes—five decades of dedication to supporting moms, babies, and families.

The March of Dimes has changed countless lives, and Tom’s commitment has helped keep that mission alive right here in our community.

Today was something really special—and it wouldn’t have happened without the heart behind this team.

On behalf of the Optimist Club of Apple Valley, we want to recognize and thank every single member, volunteer who showed up, stepped in, and gave their time to make our Easter event such a success.

From the days spent stuffing eggs… to the early morning setup… to staying late and making sure everything came together—you showed up in every way.

And what stands out most isn’t just what you did… it’s how you did it.
With positive attitudes, teamwork, flexibility, and genuine care for our community.

That spirit is what makes this group so special—and it’s exactly what people feel when they come to our events.

Our annual Eggstravaganza is hopping into James A. Woody Park on Saturday, April 4 from 9:30 AM to 12 PM.
We’ve got eggs to hunt, games to play, activities for the kids, and a food truck on site. Bring your baskets and get ready… because this is no yolk.
Hunt times:
9:30 AM – 1–2 years (Field 1)
9:45 AM – 3–6 years (Field 2)
10:00 AM – Special Needs (Field 6)
10:15 AM – 7–10 years (Field 3)

🏀 Tri-Star Basketball Skills Competition Recap!

The Optimist Club of Apple Valley hosted the Tri-Star Basketball Skills Competition this past Saturday at the James Woody Center with 35 contestants competing in dribbling, passing, and shooting challenges. It was a close competition and a fun morning for everyone involved!

A big thank you to Taylor Conlan for heading the event, along with the supporting Optimist Club members and the Town of Apple Valley for helping make it a success.
